The Territory

THE LUNIGIANA
In the north of Tuscany there is one of the most secret, and therefore the most precious, corners of Tuscany: the Lunigiana. This strip of the Tuscan territory, which flows into the sea, borders to the north and east with Emilia Romagna, to the west with Liguria and to the south with the Apuan Alps, spectacular mountains, visible more or less from all of Lunigiana, which owe their name to the similarity to the mountains to the alpine arc.
VERSILIA AND THE APUAN COAST

Versilia and the Apuan Coast correspond to the geographic region of interest to the part of the province of Lucca and Massa Carrara between the mountain range of the Apuan Alps, which runs parallel to the coast, and the coast. It is a renowned bathing area on the Tuscan Sea (part of the Ligurian Sea also called the Alto Tirreno).

CINQUE TERRE AND LA SPEZIA
The Cinque Terre (Çinque Tære in Ligurian) are a jagged stretch of coast of the Ligurian Riviera di Levante (Riviera spezzina) located in the territory of the province of La Spezia between Punta Mesco and Punta di Montenero, in which there are five villages or, as in ancient times it said, lands, listed here from west to east: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore.
